Today we wrap up our special Industry Day week.

It was 6 days, 20 sectors and more than 600 products: from the food industry to jewelry and fashion jewelry electroplating shops, from water treatment to tanneries, from pharmaceuticals to dairy plants.

But more than a portfolio exercise, this week was a chance to show something that rarely appears in a catalog: what links such different sectors is exactly the same requirement: the right input, documentation in order and a supplier that understands the process.

What all these sectors have in common

It may seem unlikely that a fashion jewelry electroplating shop and a pharmaceutical manufacturer share the same supplier. But they do.

Because what they share is the requirement rather than the product:

1. Certified purity

Whether it is sulfuric acid for an electroplating bath or ethyl alcohol for a pharmaceutical formulation, purity has to be documented. A good product is not enough: it needs the COA that proves it.

2. Batch traceability

When an auditor arrives, when a customer raises a question, when a process fails, traceability is what protects the company. Every batch that leaves Boreto & Cardoso® has an identification number, a recorded analysis and documentation available.

3. Safe logistics

Chemicals carry hazard classifications. Improper transport is a legal liability and a real risk. All our drivers hold a MOPP license (Brazil's mandatory training for drivers of hazardous materials), and deliveries follow the regulations for transporting hazardous materials.

4. A supplier that understands the process

Having the right product is of little use if the supplier does not understand what it is for. At Boreto & Cardoso®, service is technical: we know what each sector needs, which standards apply and which parameters matter.

Electroplating shops: the sector closest to our heart

Jewelry and fashion jewelry electroplating is Boreto & Cardoso®'s core business. More than five decades serving the Limeira hub have given us a specialization that cannot be measured in SKUs: it shows in our technical service, in our understanding of the bath and in the trust built with each electroplating shop.

Essential electroplating kit: acids for surface preparation (hydrochloric, nitric, sulfuric), caustic soda in flakes and solution for degreasing, copper sulfate for the baths, hydrogen peroxide and hypochlorite as oxidizers, inorganic salts such as zinc powder and barium chloride, plus technical lacquers for finishing.

Because quality fashion jewelry starts with the input. And an input with certified purity and batch traceability is what separates a shine that lasts from one that fades in weeks.
